Superior Court Judge orders enquiry into Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris’ suicide attempt.
After the suicide attempt of Paris Jackson, the daughter of late Michael Jackson, a judge has set an inquiry to check her well-being as she recovers in hospital.
Mitchell Beckloff, a judge of the Superior Court, who is supervising the guardianship of the three children of Michael Jackson, has ordered an investigation to look into the health, education and welfare of Paris Jackson and if necessary, recommend changes.
The order to investigate was given a day after the suicide attempt of Paris when she was taken by an ambulance on a stretcher from the Jackson home in Calabasas, California, to a hospital.
The authorities received a phone call of a possible overdose and rushed to the Jackson house. Perry Sanders Jr. who is the attorney of Paris’ granny Katherine Jackson said, “There have been communications between the court and counsel and we’re completely supportive of the court’s actions.” He also mentioned that Paris is recovering very fast and is now physically well and receiving good medical care.
After Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, Paris and her two Brothers, Prince and Blanket, went to live under the guardianship of their grandmother Katherine Jackson.
A similar inquiry had been called by Judge Beckloff last year also in which Katherine had been out of communication for them for several days. She had been taken by some of the family’s children to a resort in Arizona and as a consequence Tito Jackson’s son, TJ, had to be appointed as a co-guardian over the children.
This is a standard procedure in high profile cases and the Jackson family is being completely supportive.
